Steering Committee Members

The Wills for Heroes Steering Committee guides the program to its continued success. They volunteer their time not only in its strategic planning but to coordinating events, recruiting other volunteers and training others. We thank them for their dedication to helping Arizona's first responders.

Julie Woodward Julie Woodward

Julie K. Moen joined The Hassett Law Firm in 2005, and her practice emphasizes professional malpractice, insurance regulatory issues and insurance coverage disputes. An Arizona native, Julie obtained her undergraduate degree in political science and chemistry from Northern Arizona University and her law degree from University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. She serves as an arbitrator for the Maricopa County Superior Court and has given seminars to insurance agents on recognizing, preventing and resolving E&O risks. Along with firm principal Myles Hassett, Julie is co-author of the Arizona Tort Law Manual (Insurance Producer Tort Liability section) published by the State Bar of Arizona in 2012. Julie first volunteered with the Wills for Heroes program in 2009, and outside her practice, she can be found hiking, camping and venturing off-road with her husband Mitch.
